I have had problems getting the Paypal button to work for the TPRS Workshop in Agen. It is at last functioning. The problems were due to the bank being slow and to instructions being less than crystal to an elderly neophyte. It now appears to be functioning.
So that those who wanted to pay with the button and couldn't won't be penalized, I'm extending the early bird deadline to Wednesday, April 10th. After that the price will be 395 euros.
Being a Navy brat, I went to 13 different schools before I graduated from high school. I majored in French and began teaching English to French speakers in Kribi, Cameroon in 1967 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Then I married François Dubois. By 1984 we had four children and I moved to France so they could go to French schools. I taught English to adults and earned a Masters and a DEA in English literature. In 1991 I began teaching translation and literature and writing skills at the DEPAA, an antenna of the University of Bordeaux. I then passed the Capes and later the agrégation and taught at Lycée Jean-Baptiste de Baudre from 1996 to 2012. Now that I am retired, I have begun giving private lessons. I use TPRS with my students, trying to make their English spontaneous and automatic. I have proposed workshops in TPRS for language teachers in French middle schools.
